We are inclusive, kind, compassionate human beings of all ages, who love and support the North Carolina Courage. Our goal is to build a Courage community, not only here in the Triangle, but throughout the State of NC, to change crowd dynamics, and to ultimately turn all of Sahlen’s Stadium into the Supporters Section
On January 9th, 2017, Steve Malik officially brought the North Carolina Courage back to Cary, North Carolina! Four quick months later, their first season was underway.
A year later, we realized this wonderful team needed an independent supporters group of its own, a community of people who will show up week in and week out to show unwavering support for our local club and the beautiful game.
We will be those people. We will show up, we will stand up, and we will do our part.
We want to create an explosive environment inside Sahlen’s Stadium, full of scarves, banners, tifos, chants…
We can’t do it without you!
We proudly take on the name, The Junkyard Dogs. If you followed the team in 2017, it may sound familiar; it’s a term given to the players by our very own, coach, Paul Riley. We asked, and were given permission to use it from the man himself.
A Junkyard Dog is all grit, a Junkyard Dog breathes tenacity, exudes confidence, a Junkyard Dog embodies COURAGE, every step of the way.
Our job is to emulate this mentality off the pitch, and to make them proud.
We are in the process of filing as a NON-PROFIT. Stay Tuned!
